Harmoni Bali is backed up by two major investment companies, a leading real estate development and property management, APIC Group and Timemerchant Capital.
 
APIC Group founded by Mr. Harun Sebastian and Mr. Harjono Lie in 2011, Mr. Harun Sebastian has been in the property business since 1970’s with expertise in land banking, real estate development, and property management. The group’s portfolio included commercial & retail, hospitality, and residential projects in the CBD area of Jakarta, such as: Capital Place, Senayan City Mall, Four Seasons Hotel, and The St. Regis Hotels.
 
Timemerchant Capital Pte Ltd, a family office based in Singapore, was founded by Mr. Leo Koguan. While specializing primarily in investments within the technology sector, the firm also aims to broaden its footprint in the hospitality industry. This expansion strategy focuses on major Asian gateway cities, strategically diversifying its investment portfolio to leverage the region’s growing tourism sector.

DesignLab

Founded in 2016, DesignLab was created by three partners with a passion for hospitality, design, and travel. Led by Alvaro Paredes, Virginie de Paeuw, and Paul Francey, the studio focuses on creating projects that reflect a deep understanding of place, culture, and people. With significant experience in hospitality design, they approach each project uniquely, avoiding predefined styles and instead tailoring their work to the site, local culture, and client vision. Their process is highly collaborative, working closely with consultants, operators, and clients to bring their designs to life. Inspired by a love for travel and diverse cultures, they have completed exciting projects in unique locations worldwide.

Established in 1994, DESIGNWILKES Sdn Bhd, led by Jeffrey A. Wilkes as the principal, specializes in luxury hospitality, residences, and restaurants, taking them across five continents as they work to create environments that respond to indigenous art, craft, and historic architecture. Noteworthy projects include award-winning hotels such as Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Jumeirah, Dubai, The Oberoi Rajvilas, Udaivilas, Amarvilas in India, The Leela Palaces in Udaipur and Chennai, and Mandapa Ritz Carlton Reserve in Ubud, Bali.

LANDSCAPE DESIGN

Bensley Design Studio

After graduating from Harvard in 1984, Bill Bensley joined Belt Collins & Associates in Singapore for three years, followed by two years in their Hong Kong office. During that time, he learned Indonesian and Malay and familiarized himself with the Southeast Asian architectural vernacular, particularly that of Bali. Bensley then moved to Bangkok, where he opened the first BENSLEY studio in 1989, with a second in Bali in 1990. The studio's early projects included landscaped gardens for the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, the Shangri-La Hotel in Bangkok, the Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur, and the Anantara Hua Hin Resort & Spa. Private clients included Malaysian Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin of Terengganu and businessman Howard Feldman.
