Luxury real estate: One-of-a-kind

Presenting the hottest properties for another home away from home

There are beautiful homes, and there are inimitably spectacular ones. The perfect abode, in our definition, is one that laps up magnificent city skyline or ocean views, with a capacious terrace and a slew of posh (and exclusive) facilities and amenities for residents to enjoy. Here, we’ve compiled a list of luxury real estate listings from around the world that seem to have it all–all you have to do is pick and choose.

Located 30 minutes from Ngurah Rai international airport, Jimbaran, Uluwatu, and Sanur, the development is scheduled to open in 2027 in the southern coast. Residents can expect to enjoy panoramic views of the Indian Ocean as the resort and residences will be set on a cliffside plateau of elevated terraces on the picturesque Bukit peninsula. The Residences will occupy an eight-hectare plot above the resort and will comprise 68 villas with three to six bedrooms. A residents-only clubhouse will provide exclusive perks, such as a gym and swimming pool, function spaces and family zones, and a co-working area. In addition, residents can also access the resort’s unique dining experiences and its all-inclusive spa.

In keeping with its automaker’s pedigree, residents will enjoy unique features such as Passion Spaces, The Loop and X-Frame. Passion Spaces are private garages that can be tailored to suit residents’ personal tastes and car collections, while The Loop is a spiral access ramp for cars located at the centre of the building and leads directly to the Passion Spaces. The building’s architecture also references the motoring theme. The X-Frame, for example, is an exposed pedestal structure with a shape inspired by Porsche’s Mission R concept car and its exoskeleton. Within the 95m-tall, 21-storey tower are 22 duplex and quadplex Sky Villas, with floor areas ranging from 525sqm to 1,135sqm. The villa interiors will feature exclusive materials and luxury furniture, such as electrically powered drawers and cabinet doors in the kitchen as well as high-end customised appliances. Facilities such as a 25m swimming pool, fitness centre, spa, and social and business lounges will also be available for residents’ use. Construction of Porsche Design Tower Bangkok is scheduled to begin this year in the premier Thonglor district, with completion expected in 2028.

The selling point of this five-bedroom, 560.1sqm penthouse is its terrace, which comes with an ice bath, sauna, and magnificent views of Central London.

Stretching for more than 333sqm, the terrace also has relaxation areas, a herb garden, bar, fire pit, and a barbecue and formal outdoor dining area, all carefully placed within their own zones to cater to different needs and lifestyles. The interiors of the penthouse were designed by Studio Atkinson, which used the heritage, location, and access to outdoor spaces at Chelsea Barracks—where the penthouse is located—as its inspiration. As such, residents can look forward to sliding glass doors that open out to the terrace, sofas covered in floral fabrics by Jean Monro, and an antique chinoiserie tall boy in the hallway that was purchased at auction house, Dreweatts in Newbury. For even more amenities, there is the 32,749 sq ft Garrison Club at Grenadier Gardens, which offers a multi-use sports hall, 25m swimming pool, gym, club lounge, business suite, boardrooms, and a children’s playroom. Residents can also book exclusive treatments and sessions with luxury providers, such as Effect Doctors, AMP (which operates The Garrison Club), and Wildsmith Skin, via a dedicated app.
